Challenge

Acasa's existing app created friction for people navigating the complexities of shared living — from splitting bills and tracking expenses to coordinating with housemates — resulting in a disjointed experience that failed to reflect the ease and trust that flatmates need day to day.

Approach

Conducted user research to identify key pain points in shared living workflows, then redesigned the app's core flows around clarity and collaboration. Focused on simplifying task management, expense tracking, and household communication through an intuitive mobile-first interface built in Figma.

A full UX/UI redesign of Acasa that transforms a fragmented shared living app into a seamless, cohesive experience — reducing cognitive load for users and making everyday household coordination feel effortless.
